Guides in Playing Mafia Wars

Guides in Playing Mafia Wars

While Mafia Wars requires only a few mouse clicks, the tactics behind it is really complicated. As a player, you should also be skilled and capable enough of making careful and well plotting-out decisions.

At the start of the game, it may seem vague to you as to where to bring your mafia. There are players who take pleasure leveling up as quick as they can while there are some who just play real slow and savor the feeling of being paid wealth, collections, and properties. There are also some who delight in establishing large mafia to fight with other players. You may also belong to those who concentrate on doing each job in every tier. No matter how you play, there are some approaches you can consider to be able to get the most out of your making a bet experience.

1    Doing and Completing Jobs
Jobs are among the essential factors in Mafia Wars. They help you level up, gain money, get special loot, and draw together the seven exceptional items that are needed to complete your collection.

Beginners in Mafia Wars need to end several jobs which are fantastic money-making opportunities. They also help you in your goal of putting up a mafia group. As you level up, you will learn new and more hard jobs that may need a particular size of mafia, extraordinary items, or particular level to end.

You can complete jobs by clicking the “Jobs” tab in the Mafia Wars’ main menu. Then, you will be taken to a page that contains available jobs and the required items and energy for each job.  Do you want to learn some real Mafia Wars Secrets? 2    Job Mastery
Once you complete jobs, you’ll see an area that presents your percentage of mastering a particular job. Achieving 100% in the first job tier allows you to head on to the next level and so on. There are corresponding rewards for every mastery level concluded.

While it takes a lot of energy and considerable quantity of time to master jobs, you will be rewarded with valuable bonus items that provide your mafia with lasting improvement.

3    Being paid More Mafia Members
The size of your mafia is very vital to your progress in Mafia Wars. If your group has more members, you can complete more jobs, guard yourself from assaults, fight with other mafias, buy exceptional properties, and use top Mafia Wars members who provide you with extra bonuses for fights and jobs.

To include more members to your group, go to “My Mafia (X)” button in the Mafia Wars’ main menu. The letter ‘X’, which is enclosed in the parentheses, indicates your group’s present size. When you click the said button, the next page that comes into view will allow you to invite your friends or anyone you know to be part of your Mafia. The maximum mafia size is 501 so you have to choose your members wisely.

4    Advancing your Character
You can upgrade your character not only by completing jobs but also by fighting or attacking other mafias. Once you level up, you will be awarded five cleverness points. Moreover, one cleverness point will be given once you master a job and a job tier.

You can utilize your cleverness points in Mafia Wars by clicking on the ‘Profile’ tab. Doing so will lead to a page which lets you increase your mafia’s energy, attack, health, stamina, and defense. You cannot undo your points allocations so make sure you choose wisely.

Chopping off my little finger

Chopping off my small fiddle with
mafia page

This is for a textbook page about Yakuza (Japanese mafia) movies, since removing the top joints of fingers is one of the most Yakuza-typical behaviours. Yakuza remove top joints of their fingers to signify that they are sorry about something, such as not having paid back a debt, or having made a mistake. In the films at least, if a Yakuza makes a mistake he may he told to bring a fiddle with by his boss. The lack of a fiddle with joint is a sign of life a member of the "extreme path" (gokudou).

In Korea people remove parts of their fingers by way of protest, sometimes against the Japanese. Such protestsare inclined to backfire since fiddle with removal is so closely associated with voilent crime groups.

In one manga i read, a Yakuza debt collector (some Yakuza earn their living in this way) threatened the debtor saying "If I don’t take your debt back to my boss he is going to question for my fiddle with, so I will chop it off here," and proceeded to take out a kitchen knife and prepared to make the cut. The debtor was so alarmed at the prospect of seeing someone cut their fiddle with off that they paid back their debt, before the yakuza drew blood.

Apparently it is "surprisingly awkward." I am not sure what that earnings. It looks awkward. How could it be surprising?

A gentleman that I knew with no top fiddle with joint used a prosthetic fiddle with to cover his loss. He was a restaurant manager when I met him but I could not help thinking that he was a Yakuza who had fallen from grace.

Note that the blood is not reflected in the blade. It was taken from another photo on flickr, not from my veins.

Is it possible to find someone’s Facebook profile from only a link on their Mafia Wars profile page?

Question by Tufgie: Is it possible to find someone’s Facebook profile from only a link on their Mafia Wars profile page?
If you know a Mafia Wars player’s nickname and are able to link to their Mafia Wars profile page, is it possible to find them on Facebook?
By the way, the end of the link from the user’s Mafia Wars profile page is “user=p|xxxxxx”.
You see that it’s not just a set of number, there is the “p” and the vertical pipe character “|”. Pasting only the numbers that follow those two characters doesn’t link to a valid Facebook profile.

Answer by Amy P
Yes! If you get their profile number – I reckon it’s somewhere in the profile page. It’s probably in the link in the address bar. Copy that number and then go back to your FB profile page. You’ll see a number at the end of the address (that’s your id) paste the id over it and it should bring up the person’s profile. I used to do this with Mob Wars – I assume Mafia Wars is the same.
