How I made the programs:
I designed them in Adobe InDesign using fonts from www.dafont.com. Kinkos in black and white 2 per 11×17 sheet of 67# purple cardstock (which I provided). Then we folded them into thirds. We were done in less time than it takes to watch the movie Office Space 
The result was a trifold approximately 5.5 inch square. Very simple to do – no cutting or gluing or ribbon-tying – and everybody loved them. Total cost – for printing 100 of them + for a ream of cardstock. Kinko’s cut the leftover cardstock into 8.5×11 sheets so we could use it for other stuff in our home printer. I got the cardstock from a local paper store (Arvey Paper) but I reckon www.marcopaper.com/Pricer Index.htm carries the exact same thing.)
As I said, I used Adobe InDesign to lay them out, but I reckon one could do a very similar layout using Powerpoint. Just go to page setup and tell the page size to be 5.5×17 and then make three equally-sized, evenly-spaced text boxes to type in. And tell Kinko’s to photograph 2 per page.

• Introduction – This is the space wherein you can give your readers a background about you, your establishment or company. Write down your goals and your inspirations. You can write down what drives you towards accomplishing your objectives. This can replace the preface.
• Preface – Tells something about the scenery of the booklet. It may contain a fleeting summary of the booklet. It also has room for you to discuss about the highlights of your booklet.
• Foreword – Unlike the previous two, the foreword is a material written by an expert about the subject. Most of the time, it contains the significance of the booklet within the establishment or the subject concerned.
• Dedication – This page is a very well loved page. Nevertheless, readers really don’t remember to whom the booklet was dedicated to or the people whom the author or authors owes gratitude to.
• Appendix – It can be a list of the stores where your readers can buy the product. It can contain friend details that would serve to the purpose of your booklet.
• Teasers or Excerpts – It gives you room to describe other booklets that you may have published before hand that your readers may find fascinating.
• Response-form – These are not necessarily part of the book. It can be a postcard slipped in between the pages so your readers can answer to your booklet. These answers can be questions, suggestions, and even orders of what you have to offer in your booklet.
Booklets are your handy, informational material. You can design it with loads of photos to compliment your text. They can be as colorful as magazines and as educational as travel guide materials.
