Is it possible to find someone’s Facebook profile from only a link on their Mafia Wars profile page?

Question by Tufgie: Is it possible to find someone’s Facebook profile from only a link on their Mafia Wars profile page?
If you know a Mafia Wars player’s nickname and are able to link to their Mafia Wars profile page, is it possible to find them on Facebook?
By the way, the end of the link from the user’s Mafia Wars profile page is “user=p|xxxxxx”.
You see that it’s not just a set of number, there is the “p” and the vertical pipe character “|”. Pasting only the numbers that follow those two characters doesn’t link to a valid Facebook profile.

Answer by Amy P
Yes! If you get their profile number – I reckon it’s somewhere in the profile page. It’s probably in the link in the address bar. Copy that number and then go back to your FB profile page. You’ll see a number at the end of the address (that’s your id) paste the id over it and it should bring up the person’s profile. I used to do this with Mob Wars – I assume Mafia Wars is the same.
