Vital Buying Guide:
* If ANY of the oulets in your house is 2 pronged, You should buy this model.
* If ANY of the 3 pronged outlets in your house is not grounded, You should buy this model.
* If your existing intercom is 2 pronged, this is your exact REPLACEMENT. You can simply plug them into the same exact outlets.
* Since voice travel via the power line, all AC outlets where the intercoms are plug in must be within the same phase of the AC give.
* If you have a detached garage, multiple level house, or living in a house with electric range, electric cook top, electric dryers, electric wall oven, your house would most probably be wired in 2 x 110 AC supplies (dual Phase).
