Homes.com Ranks #2 in User Page Views and Time Spent on Website, Following Only Realtor.com.
Norfolk, Va. (PRWEB) February 10, 2011
Homes.com, a division of Dominion Enterprises, announced record traffic statistics for page views and time spent on site for the past four months according to Hitwise. Homes.com ranked #2 in the real estate category for page views and #2 in visit time among top real estate sites. More visitors are viewing listings and spending more time per visit viewing content on Homes.com than on nearly any other major real estate search website, including Trulia, Zillow and Yahoo! Real Estate.
With nearly 14 percent of all page views among the top real estate sites for the past four months, Homes.com’s visitors view more pages than any other real estate website, with the only exception life Realtor.com, representing a significant boon for Homes.com advertisers.
In addendum to viewing more pages, visitors to Homes.com stayed on the website for an average of over 14 minutes per person, over a full minute longer than they stayed on the next highest competitor. This earnings visitors to Homes.com looked at homes for sale and rent longer than they did on nearly any other major real estate portico. Jason Doyle, vice-president of Homes.com, said, “For advertisers, page views per visit is a more valuable indicator of user engagement and audience quality than unique visitors which can be driven up by unengaged, indirect traffic. Our goal is to attract consumers prepared to engage in the transaction of a home buy or rental in order to connect them with local professionals. The level of engagement of visitors to Homes.com is effectively unmatched among real estate search sites.”
Homes.com is ranked as the #4 real estate site by comScore in traffic volume, with over 6 million unique visitors per month to the Homes.com and ForRent.com Network. Over 66 million consumers visited Homes.com in 2010 alone, viewing well over 1.1 billion pages, representing a 40 percent increase in page views over the previous year.

8 Easy Ways To Get More Page Views For Your Blog/website
8 Simple Ways To Get More Page Views For Your Blog/website
If You like many other bloggers are using adsense, adbrite, yahoo publisher or any other PPC advertising network as your main fund of making money with your blog, then you probably know that the more page views and clicks you get, the more money you make. Having people to read more of your articles by visiting different pages, thus giving your blog more page views, is a fantastic way to help your revenue grow. But, not everybody who visit your blog, is going to visit each and every pages of your blog/site.
Most visitors leave the blog/site, as soon as they have found what they were looking for, which depending on the blog usually happens within the first minuet or so of arriving on the first page (unless of course they are your loyal readers). So, how do you get your visitors to check or read more than one page or condition? How do you get them to view more pages?… Here are 10 simple yet very effective ways you can increase the number of page views you get.
Interlinking
Interlinking or deep linking can help you not only with your blog’s SEO status, but also with page views. Every time you write a new condition or post, simply link to a related one on your blog (or other blogs, in case of having more than one blog).
Static Page
This is one of the smartest way to increase your page views. I myself haven’t done it yet, but have seen many bloggers do it, and they all are lucky with the consequences (maybe I should get that going as well). Its very simple, you basically make each condition a static page. Then simply refer people to the static page.
Reference Page
Make a couple of reference pages inside your blog, with some subjects or material to refer people back to them. When you write a new post, if applicable, mention the reference point and point to the reference page by leaving a link. But, don’t over do it by using it more than one or two times in an condition, or referring visitors to it without having any reasonable or useful tie to the condition.
Condition On Condition (Post On Post)
Write an condition where you talk about couple of your past posts that you reckon were very informative, and that you reckon your readers should certainly read. It would be a excellent way to introduce new visitors to your ancient articles, as well as being paid some page views from your loyal readers.
Series Writing
I am sure you have seen many of these kinds of posts, where bloggers write a series of condition on a subject. Series redeployment will give your readers something to look forward to, while at the same time you get to refer to the last condition in the new one, thus having some new or perhaps even regular visitors to click onto the last condition for a quick “catch-up/reminder”. Series articles can be done once a week, month or less or more often. Avoid stretching a subject that can be addressed in a two sentence condition, by making it a series of 10 articles.
Favorite Page
You may already have this. But what i am talking about is not for links to your favorite bloggers or friends. We are talking about making a page with links to all of your master pieces. Every blogger has some articles that (s)he favors and knows has the juice. Make a page with links to your best works and name it favorite articles or best posts or what have you. People tend to like these kinds of pages where they know the can get the high points and vital information in one place.
Break It Up
Thankfully most of blogging tools we use today like wordpress and blogger are already using the “more” or “read more” tag. This will make the reader go to the next page in order to read the rest of the condition. Instead of having a long and never ending looking condition, which most readers shy away from, use the “more” tag to break up your longer posts, and use two or more pages for them, i
Category Favorite
Another way to increase page view which is based on the same thought as number 4(Favorite Page) is a favorite page based on different categories. Since probably like most bloggers you write articles for different categories, it would be a excellent thought to have a favorite page for each category. Like favorite politics related articles or best money related posts.
I hope these tips will help you increase page views and hopefully the number of clicks you get on your ad sense ads.

How to Increase your Article Page Views
How to Increase your Condition Page Views
Are your articles being paid as many page views as they deserve? Are we submitting our work to the best sites for the niches we write for? Many of us who write articles tend to be a small bone idle when it comes to submitting our work. We submit articles to the same sites over and over because we’ve always used those sites. Or maybe we read somewhere that the sites we use are the best out there. Do a small research and take a fresh look at your submission sites; you might see a substantial increase in your page views.
If you are writing less than five articles each day, you should submit them to at least 30-40 sites. Of course, to do this efficiently, you will need to use one of the condition submission programs. There are many available and some are quite reasonably priced or even free. If you are writing five or more articles each day, you may only have time to submit them to ten or twelve sites.
There are some nice websites out there that can help you in choosing your condition submission sites. http://www.beansoftware.com/Condition-Sites-Master-List.aspx is an brilliant fund. For each listing, they provide you with the Google page rank and the Alexa rating along with the year of inception. If you are looking for largest sites, their rating system makes it very simple. The larger, more well loved sites have high Google page ranking and low Alexa numbers.
In addendum to selecting large sites, you may want to consider sites that concentrate in the niche you write for. This could be especially vital if you write for a small, specialized sector. There are some brilliant sources for this type of information. http://www.freelancemom.com/submitarticles.htm provides links to over 500 condition submission sites. Many of them are small, niche type sites that dedicate yourself to in a particular area.
After developing the list of new sites that you selected, add them to the list that you are currently submitting to. You shouldn’t eliminate all of the sites on your current list because you may have readers that look for your work on those sites. So, be careful when eliminating submission sites. But, if you are only being paid four page views per month from xyz site, you should probably eliminate them.
Submit several articles to your new list of submission sites. After a week or so, research the page views that your articles are achieving. Are you being paid as many (or hopefully more) page views than you were being paid previously? Where are the largest numbers of page views coming from? If your niche sites are giving you more page views, look to add additional similar sites. By making these changes to your submissions, you should see some significant improvement.

How to Increase Your Page Views and Generate Targted Traffic for Your Site
If you have built a business website, it will only be successful if you can get embattled website traffic to visit it and stay on it long enough to get your message and act on it.
The level of success a website is likely to delight in is usually related to the number of page views it gets each day. Page views are generated by unique visitors who surf onto your site to check it out or find the answer to a question or information about how to do something. If a unique visitor looks at three of your pages then your stat counter will add 1 to the Unique Visitors tally and 3 to the Page Views tally.
The more time a visitor spends on your site the more likely it is that they will get your message and take action. Enticing visitors to click through the pages of your website is a excellent way to keep them on your site.
You can increase page views in four simple steps:
1. Fill your site with relevant, unique, well written content
People are hungry for excellent quality relevant information and that is one of their key motives for surfing the Internet. It has been said many times before that content is king, but the fact is that content really is king when it comes to the Internet. If your site delivers the information they need, they will be more than willing to check it out and to bookmark it, return to it and maybe even recommend it to others. Your content will also get picked up by the search engines, so people will keep on visiting it and your page views will dramatically increase.
2. Keep your copy fleeting and simple
Some people find it hard to string a single sentence together; others never know when to stop! When it comes to website copy, remember the excellent ancient acronym, K. I. S. S. – keep it fleeting and simple!
Serve up the information in concise and simple-to-read chunks. Keep your paragraphs fleeting. People have fleeting attention spans on the Internet. Don’t expect them to read a several thousand word condition. On the Internet people tend to scan articles for the information they need. They will only read an condition from start to end if the style and content are so excellent that they can’t help but read everything.
3. Use proper highlighting and formatting.
The style and appearance is very vital. If your website looks dull, with fantastic chunks of hard-to-digest text, people will surf out as quickly as they surfed in.
You can increase the time they spend on your site by highlighting all the keywords and keyphrases. Don’t be worried of white space, either. Generally speaking, highlighted text that is laid out with bounty of white space around it is attractive to the eye and helps the visitor to scan the page, which will be appreciated.
Break up longer articles into pages that deal with different sections of your theme and invite the visitor to “view more” or “go to next page” by redeployment a link at the bottom of each section.
4. Place condition teasers and a site map on your main page.
Another way to increase page views is to place excerpts or teasers from your other pages on your homepage. Link each teaser to the respective webpage to encourage click-throughs.
It is also an brilliant thought to provide a site map to make it simpler for people as well as search engine spiders to navigate your site.
These are the four simple steps you need to implement to increase page views and get embattled website traffic to stay on your site long enough to get your message.
